Brief Bio Curt Simmons, President, 360 MMG
Mr. Simmons has been involved with sports and entertainment productions for over 25 years. After attending Carnegie Mellon University, Curt has gone on to pursue a successful career as a television producer and director and eventually moved into network management. He spent (8) eight years with Black Entertainment Television (BET) as the Director of Sports where he received several awards: ACE Award Nomination (NBA Series Program), CEBA Awards and NAACP Image Awards. He was also a critical part of the team that negotiated co-ventures between the NBA, NFL and MLB. The negotiations resulted in a number of specials and show series including Super Bowl, World Series and NBA All-Star Specials. Curt has directed or produced over 400 live sporting and entertainment events including: Patti Labelle, Yolanda Adams, Chaka Khan, Southwestern Athletic Conferences (Football and Basketball) and Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (Football and Basketball), Continental Basketball Association (CBA), Women’s Professional Basketball (ABL), NCAA Productions (Women’s Final Four home video) and coverage of European Professional Basketball for the Benneton Treviso team. Other awards include two Emmys and one Emmy nomination.
